What We're Sipping: Celebrating Chardonnay Day

Bennett Family Reserve Chardonnay 2005

In celebration of Chardonnay Day we would like to feature one of our favorites.  It truly embodies what a California Chardonnay is.  Grown in the cooler climate Russian River Valley,  grapes are allowed to slowly mature.  This maturation allows grapes to reach their full flavor potential along with retaining their natural acidity.
What you first notice of Bennett Family Reserve Chardonnay is its beautiful golden color.  The aromas of rich butter and oak identifies the Chardonnay's California roots.  While enjoying, you experience its buttery taste and subtle oak as previously smelled in addition to a slight hint of apple.  Pair this wine with your favorite cream sauce pasta dish.

Bennett Family Reserve Chardonnay 2005: US $24.99

Suggested to those that enjoy:  buttery oaky Chardonnays
