Pinot Noir and Pizza
The cool thing about making pizza is that it is quick, fun, and delicious. An enjoyable pizza is deserving of a wine of its equivalent.
Hailing from Oregon, King Estate Pinot Noir contains cherries with a hint of vanilla on the nose. On your palate, you enjoy the earthiness of strawberries, and light spice with well balanced acidity completed with a nice finish. As previously stated, Pinot Noir is a food friendly wine that pairs well with various entrées.Pepperoni Pizza with Sun-Dried Tomatoes
-pizza crust
-tomato paste
-pepperoni (turkey or pork)
-shredded mozzarella
-sun dried tomatoes
Preheat oven at 450 degree. Lightly brush olive oil on crust. Spread half can (6 oz) of tomato paste on crust. Lightly season tomato paste with Italian seasoning. Spread mozzarella, pepperoni, and sun-dried tomatoes on crust. Place in oven for 10 min and enjoy!
