What We're Sipping: Sancerre

2009 Les Boucauds Sancerre
It is always exciting to discover a new favorite.  Hailing from Sancerre in Loire Valley, France, this Sauvignon Blanc identifies the superior wine making of the region. On the nose, you pick up white peach, citrus, and acidity.  When sipping, you experience grapefruit, lemon, white peach, grass, and lime with a refreshing level of acidity.  If pairing with food, consider goat cheese, salad, and  lemon baked chicken.

Suggested for those that enjoy: dry whites

2009 Les Boucauds Sancerre: $24.99
