What We're Sipping: Malbec

Goulart Clasico C Malbec 2008
Just like Cabernet Sauvignon and sparkling wine, I truly appreciate a satisfying glass of Malbec. Due to my first  experience with the varietal being awesome, I have become very selective of Malbecs I drink yet open-minded. First, I am mesmerized by the wine's inky color heighten anticipation to taste. An enticing nose of dark fruit, blackcurrant, and vanilla followed by blackberries, black cherry, spice and toasty vanilla completed with soft tannins creates a great drinking experience especially at this price point. Pair with barbeque and share with a friend that enjoys this varietal.
Suggested to those that enjoy: Zinfandel
