What We're Sipping: Pinot Noir

2009 Meiomi Pinot Noir
Since summer, I've gained a new appreciation for Pinot Noir, especially California Pinot Noir. From my discoveries I've acquired some favorites with Meiomi at the top of the list. Produced by the wine making dynasty the Wagner family popularly known for Caymus and Conundrum, this Pinot Noir is exceptional! With a taste profile of black cherries, plum, earthiness, and a smoky elegance, one can only enjoy a phenomenal drinking experience. Due to 2009 being an excellent growing season for California Pinot Noir, consider aging this bottle for three to five years. Meiomi Pinot Noir pairs well grill quail with goji berries and pine nut accompanied with your favorite person.

Suggested to those that enjoy: robust Pinot Noir

2009 Meiomi Pinot Noir: $20.99
